What did quarantine teach me?

Quarantine is coming into the end and here are some lessons that I have learned. I hope there is something you take with you from this hard time and you better person.

1. Appreciate time with loved ones- Not only there is a stress all the time, but also deeper thinking about family is appearing. You have still on your mind what if.. they get the virus or yourself or something even worse. Your brain start to think more negativelly, but do not worry, it will dissapear. But get rid of negative thougts, not family as the whole. This was just a lesson to learn from that we have to think about our close ones more, slow down and living in the moment.
2. Be more active- First weeks were weird. I did not know what to do. There was a lot of school work, noone knew what was really going on and how things would be. But when I get into some kind of routine and organised my time, I started do more walking, even running and it is so much fun! I hope there will be time to do this also when everything goes back to normal.
3. Cook/bake homemade meals- Time is the key. To be at home 24/7 makes feel comfortable in kitchen even antitalented cooker like me. I found out that it is not that big science as I thought. To be honest, I started enjoying doing meals. The big helper for this step was fact, that I have brand-new kitchen, so it is excited to be there.
4. Pay more attention to myself- In a rush I am not able to pay enough attention to myself. Now I know that where is a will there is a hope. Hope to be more carefull to my skin. (lol) It is a basic rule to hydrate your body, but not for me. I was so lazy to do that. Now I do it every day and there are results seen.
5. Spend less money- First weeks I did not work. I was at home. Luckily I had some savings to get through. My shopping was very prudent. Of course as time passes I was more open to the world and also get a job. There are tomes when everything is getting worse, but time to time sun rises too. Just like for me.
See you next time. <3
